When I no longer go,
The grass will loftily grow;
The winds will smugly blow;
And water will pretentiously flow.
When I stop
Life won't...
But I'm selfish enough to wish that it would;
And arrogant enough to imagine it could;
And vain enough to think that it should.
But it won't
So until then...
I'll forgive the grass as it tickles my feet.
I'll pardon the winds as it cools off the heat.
I'll even thank the waters for its refreshing treat.
Maybe grace can be found knowing
That grass won't stop growing;
Wind won't halt blowing;
And water won't cease flowing.
Life's on-going-ness
Isn't to mock me after I'm gone.
It's used to give care for all who remain
And bring comfort and joy and peace amid pain.
Life sustains life.
God made it that way,
So we can bear strife
Amid joy in each day.
So, until I go from here...
Let's lay in the grass as it rains on our skin
Then dry in the wind and do it again.

GOODNESS GRACIOUS!
The Poets of the times before we,
would have loved that poem you put together indeed!
Its beautiful and yet so very, very, true!
life does go on
and circles on, and on, and on.
The circle of life.
To all of those to have traveled on this planet before us and how for some who chose to except the BEAUTIFUL GIFT of SALVATION are home in Heaven and to never be forgotten there.
What a wonderful day that will be!
You are so amazing as is EVERYTHING you post on your blog!
Please post more, its been to long between posts!

I cannot respond to your article because it will not type the letters properly so I cut and copied on my site and have posted it here.
There has been three times I have been with Jesus when going through traumatic situations.
Every molecule in my body was tingling and I could not help shouting with amazing joy: ” I love you Jesus.” although the experience lasted for three hours it felt as if it was three minutes.
I am not condoning suicide but have been close to committing it several times because of abusive stress.
If you want to talk I will gladly be here fore you.
Your brother in Christs love Joseph

My brother and friend, you are a blessing and have persevered through much stress and trials. Thatโs an inspiration to us. What joy you must have experienced with Jesus! Itโs beyond what I can imagine. Youโre a very special soul. It hurts me that you’ve experienced such sadness. Thanks for sharing and caring amid it all. Jesus has great love for you!

It is through our hard times that we get the closest to Jesus
We are to be loving towards others as Jesus is loving towards us

So well said! Amen ๐๐ป
